I’m the wierdo that researched water bottles for like 2 weeks before buying one. I wanted something that fit in my cup holder, that was easy to drink from, east to clean, and I could easily put ice in. This is a winner! The lid snaps so securely and it fits perfectly in my cup holders. I carry it by the ring often. Super happy with this purchase!

Awesome water bottle I’ve been using on my photography trips for half a month., August 16, 2016

This is a great water bottle and in my favorite color too. As the title says, I am a wilderness/nature photographer who goes into the woods a lot. I find 1L is usually what I drink on a 3 mile walk on a hot day (80°F) and a 4 mile walk an average day (70°F) here in California. The 1L is a great compromise between weight and the number of times I have to filter back country water into my bottle.

There can be some design changes though. First, I wish they would have made the bottom less round, but wider (maybe more of a rounded rectangle shape), that way it will fit better in shallow water bottle pockets (which I have on my camera bag). The wide base stretches out the pocket a bit too much leading to not much holding the sides of the bottle.

Second thing they could have done is added a valve/vent on the top. I find when I suck on the mouth of the bottle, it builds a vacuum inside the bottle making it harder to get water out as there is no air going in. Now if you just want to dump water in your mouth, it works great (the chug feature), but if you want to just suck water normally, you have to be careful and leave a slight gap between the top of your lip and the mouth of the bottle so water will continue to flow.

Now that I am talking about the bad of the product, lets talk about some of the good. The water bottle fits my cars cup holders (just barely), so I guess that is a plus. I guess with my rectangular bottom suggestion, it would not fit anymore (but would benefit backpacks better). The silicone handle was a nice add. While the bottle does fall out of my bag every so often, because of the ring, I can use a carabiner to secure it to the elastic used for securing bottles to the bottle holder on my backpack. This allows my pack to still retain the bottle if it falls out. The other thing I like is the parts of the bottle do somewhat come apart for washing (including the rubber stopper up top to prevent leaks). This is great for washing and preventing mold growth (I think some of the reviews here complaining about mold is from improper maintenance). Another thing, the bottle seems pretty durable. I have accidentally dropped i a few times. While it got a few scratches here and there, it didn’t leak or anything. Another benefit is the small opening for the mouth. If you are a backpacker or nature photographer like me who filters back country water on your hikes, the small mouth would mean less chance of contamination from dirty water that might slide down your water bag or filter. Of course due to this, you will have to aim a bit as you filter water, but this is a plus in my head.

I highly recommend this bottle. I will update my review as I use it.

I love this product. It holds water perfectly, hasn’t broken, can take hits if I drop it, and a wonderful color. I haven’t tried sticking it in the dishwasher yet. Hand-washing it is super easy and probably the right thing to do. The circular flexible handle is sturdy and potentially unbreakable! The lid snaps shut and doesn’t come off at all!!!
