This is exactly what I needed. You can make the bag fit your needs. I carry my Nikon D7000 fitted with 70-300mm lens and an additional 35mm lens and several accessories.

I bought this to use as a fishing bag. It hold several small tackle boxes along with a water bottle. It works well for moving through brush as you can swing it to your back where it will not get hooked on anything, but is easy to move to your front to get out what you need. It has several compartments other than the main one that work well for holding baggies, bobbers, tippit, split-shot/bullet weight and anything else that you can think of. It rides well and stays out of the way while fishing. I would suggest it to anyone that is looking for a small/med bag to keep moving with a rod in hand.

Pockets Galore…and Really Great for Organized Types, August 24, 2015

This is one of my dreams come true: a small, easy-to-carry messenger bag that has so many pockets it seems like an electricianâ??s tool bag mated with a pool table.

I lost count somewhere after I hit a dozen, and I know there are more than that. And what I like best about them is that they all make sense, are located wisely, are mostly covered by zippers or pull strings or stretch fabric or well-placed flaps, making them safe to store items that might normally be easy to lose in other bags. But here the items can be set in their specific placesâ?¦and one can feel secure that they will stay where they are put.

This bag is just perfect for a person like me: I like to write, to keep lists, to doodle, to read, and therefore Iâ??m a person who likes to have several pens with me, maybe a couple of pencils, a Kindle or a paperback, a couple of Moleskine-like notebooks; and then of course thereâ??s my money, some credit and store cards, my phone, some charging cordsâ?¦and Iâ??m just getting started. I hate when these myriad items have to be dumped into a common bag, where sorting through them is like looking for a coin in a box of fishing tackle.

Noâ?¦I like things to be organized in a set pattern, where I can look for such-and-such a thing even when the lights are out. Having to dump my things into a bag with a couple of sections is no more help to a person like me than if someone else packed it for me. I am not kidding when I say I have gone through a series of bags looking for the right one, and I now know I have found the right bag.

The G4Free Multi-functional Tactical Messenger Bag us just what the doctor ordered. The separate pockets are well-sized, offering several medium sized pockets with smaller compartments within, allowing one to organize items into series: for instance, in one medium pocket I can put a wallet, a money clip, a credit card holder, a checkbook, etc â?? with some of those items in the main pocket, and some of the smaller, lesser-used (or more protected) items are held in the slots within.

Another beautiful thing about this bag is thatâ??even with all of these compartmentsâ??it is SO compact. It manages to encompass all the â??stuffâ? I carry into a bag that is, when it is pretty well packed with that stuff, about 10 inches wide, about 10 inches tall, and about 6 inches deep. Again, thatâ??s FULL. Thatâ??s about the size of a large shoe box, which makes it a really easy bag to pick up and carryâ?¦or fit behind your legs in a crowded car, or stow away in a plane. And, while there are four color choices, I picked black: not only does it look great, but the color is almost invisible through a car window against the floorboardsâ?¦it removes itself from the temptation of onlookers that way.

Itâ??s a really terrific bag, like I said. For me, a real keeper.
