Perfect match to my Pardner Single Shotgun, June 2, 2012

This review is from: Allen Recoil Eraser, Recoil Reducing Pad (Sports)
I bought the small sized Allen recoil pad for my H&R/NEF Pardner single-shot Shotgun. Without much info on the web to the actual size of the pad and not a single retailer putting out the fit guide located on the back of the packaging, I took a chance on the small size. When it arrived, sure thing my Pardner’s butt fit into the “try it here” picture.
    To give the cross-sectional dimensions, the drawing(not the actual pad itself) is 5 1/8″(5.125″) x 1 3/4″(1.75″).

The installation was a breeze as my buttstock fell below the size of the traced picture and I was anxious that the small pad might even be too loose for my Pardner Single’s buttstock. But after carefully “stretch and slipping on” little by little until the pad was in place, everything was good. Fit just like a glove, no slippage at all. It added about an inch to the OAL. Also, the stretch rubber could’ve accomodated something larger if need be. But even with this stretching, I can’t think of any way that this pad will be flopping at the butt unless you didn’t slip the butt in all the way.

I gave the dimensions of the “try it here” picture above and I’ll be adding a pic of the back so you guys can check for yourself if your buttstock is compatible from the fitting guide.

this is a confirmation that the butt pad will fit the chinese made Steven 320 tactical. Order yourself some buttstock holder and you are all set.

Excellent perceived recoil reduction at a bargain price., August 28, 2016

I use one of these (medium size) on my Vepr 12, which still has the original stock, and they fit fairly well. I use 3 dram equiv ammo for skeet, and I do have a muzzle break, and adding this inexpensive recoil pad reduces my perceived recoil low enough that I don’t consciously notice it unless I am trying to.

Given the low price (they fluctuate, but are around eight to ten dollars usually), and the excellent recoil reduction, I highly recommend the pad.
