    Hearing Protection:
I have been through several hearing protection options and these have to be my absolute favorite! The over ear design that I have tried tended to either be too bulky or not give enough hearing protection. These work wonderful at the range and do a great job of protecting my hearing. The comfort was much better than I expected with normal earplugs and I have worn them for several hours at a time without any discomfort. Since I wear glasses I have been looking for a good set of plugs that don’t put pressure on the arms of my glasses and with these I have found them.

    Bluetooth Connectivity:
I had no issue at all syncing these to my phone and the connection worked at a surprisingly good distance form my phone, even with it in the pocket of thick tactical pants.

    Electronic Audio:
The ability to change the volume of the hearing enhancement and the Bluetooth audio independently is a must have in my opinion. I was able to hit one button and pause my podcasts to be able to hear anyone talking around me. The microphone pickup was much better than some of the other electronic hearing enhancers I have used with little to no static.

    TL;DR
    I would strongly recommend these.

I purchased this unit because i have taken up long range shooting. My ear muffs were interfering with and causing the muffs to add sound. When shooting there are several large caliber rifles shooting on the line and there is a lot of noise along with range commands by the range officer. I used this unit for the first time yesterday. It worked very well. I found the noise level from the other shooters to be very comfortable and I could hear conversation from others around me. When in the pit I could easily hear conversation from others scoring hits. The only thing I would say negative is that there was no directional perspective form where sound came from. I think I could learn more about how to use this over time, but my first use for about 5 hours was great. The ear pieces were comfortable, but I recommend you spend some time to find the best size foam inserts. You do need to role the ear pieces up before inserting and you need to make sure they are all the way in your ear to get full protection.

These work great. I put on the biggest tips to fill my ears and it feels like I’m wearing the old-school foam plugs, but it passes through the ambient noise from around me. When a sound over a certain level goes off, the ambient noise shuts off so these are great for shooting. You can hear just fine, but it still protects from the gun shot. But I don’t get the headache of the big headphones and, when I’m shooting a long gun, I don’t worry about the headphones getting pushed off my ear.

It also plays music or takes calls over bluetooth. In fact, I put on some music while shooting. It still passes through the outside noises while playing the music and still compresses the loud gunshot, while playing the music the whole time. Very interesting
