GREAT addition for those who use the MOLLE system. Solid as hell but also a bit tough to get off. Not extremely hard to remove just have to sit down and take 2-3 minutes to sit there and do it. No tools needed.

They also remove much easier once you have worn them in a bit. Especially great for Maxpedition products themselves. Included a decent pic of my USMC 3-day Assault pack with a Maxpedition Mini pocket organizer so you can see for yourself the dimensions and use of the product.

I personally prefer these over MALICE clips or other competitors because with these I know my pouches wont accidentally fall off my bag in heavy transit.

purchased these to secure a chest rig to a molle plate carrier. Used these straps to convert horizontal molle straps to a vertical attachment point for the fast clips. These work perfectly and securely attach the chest rig. Setup was easy: thread the straps through the molle straps, and back up through the buckle. No tools necessary.

Love these things, but I won’t buy them again simply because I can make them at a fraction of the cost, and any length I need, and out of the very same materials or better. The price is the only thing wrong with them.

After doing some research into buying materials to make my own, I came to the realization that Maxpedition is making an absolute killing with these.

The materials are dirt cheap even at the retail level. Using US milspec webbing and ITW triglides, and hand sewn with a Speedy Stitcher, I can make them for under $1 each. Maxpedition’s cost is most likely closer to 25 cents each, if it’s even that high. Figuring from that, they are making $7 per pack, minus their other expenses such as packaging. Good business model for Maxpedition, but it leaves the customer paying out the nose.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not attacking Maxpedition. Their stuff is great, I own several of their products. But I’m not going to keep paying for these things when I can make them myself.

FYI, Instructables has a nice one on making these.
